Or you know, you could get 178 teachers at the average Kentucky teacher salary of $42,592. Instead, Kentucky signed a deal to pay NCS Pearson Inc, a Minnesota based company, $7.6 million dollars to create an accountability test to be used starting next Spring. Just think how much money we could save by trusting teachers to create their own assessments. I wonder where this $7.6 million is coming from?
